Saudades

The Special Edition Saudades for the 2022 Reunion is a group effort. The goal is to publish a hard cover coffee table book with at least 64 full color pages.

 

Target of production has been set between 250 and 500 copies making the end price range between €30 and €40 depending on editorial costs and eventual advertising revenues. The book will be devided into chapters.

 

The main chapter will be the History of the School since it's inception in 1956. A historic research would need to be conducted to tell the fascinating story about the decades of presence of the American School in Portugal.

 

Going Down Memory Lane is a chapter dedicated to those that want to share their experience at the school. You may send photos and up to 144 words describing your experience. This section would be open to all regardless if they will be at the event in July 2022.

 

If the whole idea of the Saudades 2022 Yearbook goes ahead, please feel free to contribute as this will be an ongoing project to be done by all in the next coming months, with the end goal of launching it at the event in July 2022.
